Quaker Village Road Historic Walking Tour - July 2026

Started at the Town Clerk's Office - 1727 Quaker Village Rd, Weybridge

We learned what Weybridge was like in years past! A one hour walking tour of the historic Quaker Village Road district by Glenna and AJ Piper. We had a chance to see inside the old Town Hall and Cotton Free Library, and viewed a 2011 video documenting early Weybridge life and history by long-time Weybridge residents.  We started at the Town Office building and learned as we walked. The coffee, muffins, and donuts were great!

Special Visit to the Henry Sheldon Museum - July 2026

Henry Sheldon Museum - 1 Park St, Middlebury

Weybridge residents and friends viewed the exhibition "Drawing on the Archive: Tillie Walden's Charity & Sylvia." We viewed the exhibition together, along with the Director of the Sheldon, Coco Moseley. Afterwards, we were be able to view archival materials in the reading room, selected by the museum’s Public History Fellow, Allison Cardon. For more information on the exhibit visit the museum website.

About 50 town residents enjoyed a picnic with their Weybridge friends. Burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, cupcakes, and drinks were provided, and town folks brought a smorgasbord of yummy side dishes! There were games for the kids (and kids at heart!).
